Mega Learning Hubs

The UPOU Mega Learning Hub is a learning space or venue where activities are conducted both physically and virtually to support the learning needs of UPOU students as well as faculty members, and other learners from institutions offering online courses. These hubs are located in the National Capital Region, in Cebu and in Davao.

An evolution of what used to be the Learning Center of the UP Open University, these Mega Learning Hubs are virtual and physical space where students and faculty members can collaborate and become co-creators of knowledge. It offers space to conduct proctored examinations for distance learning students.

The Mega Learning Hubs provide facilities and equipment including computers, stable internet connections; AV equipment and spaces where learners can view webinars; web-streamed conferences, join MOOCs activities and even attend synchronous online discussions and video conferencing. Through the Mega Learning Hubs, students and researchers can view and access webinars, fora, seminars and workshops that are held at UPOU Headquarters in Los Baños.
