1 SA Learning Design

  • To assist QCT in course development.
  • To assist in the UPOU workspace.
  • To perform other tasks that may be assigned.
Faculty of Education 2 SAs
  • Scanning official documents.
  • Shredding of documents no longer needed.
  • Performing other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Faculty of Management and Development Studies 1 SA/ 1 GA
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, or organizing documents.
  • Assist in managing FMDS databases, including FMDS Dashboard, Google Drive, etc.
  • Promote events by sharing event flyers and other promotional materials.
  • Maintain records related to seminars, lectures, and events.
  • Provide regular reports to the supervising faculty member or department head on the progress of tasks, event attendance, and the impact of news articles.
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed in compliance with university policies and ethical standards.
Faculty of Information and Communication Studies 1 SA
  • Assist in scanning theses and dissertations of students.
  • Assist in scanning other Faculty Secretary documents.
  • Assist in clerical work for the Faculty Secretary and Dean’s Office.
  • Assist in preparing publicity materials and press releases.
  • Assist in digital archiving and digitizing documents.
  • Assist in the clerical work of the FICS program.
  • Assist in ISCOlab.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Student Assistant Eligibility:

  • Must be a continuing student and must be officially enrolled during the term when appointed as SA.
  • Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in not more than twelve (12) units of regular/normal load during the term appointed.
  • Students who are enrolled in less than twelve (12) units during the term are eligible to be appointed as SAs provided they are expected to graduate at the end of the current semester. The applicant must submit a certification issued by his/her Faculty Secretary stating he/she is a candidate for graduation in said term. A student who is enrolled in less than twelve (12) units during a semester due to reasons other than being a candidate for graduation may be appointed as an SA, provided that he/she submits a valid justification issued/endorsed by the Faculty Secretary and confirmed by the Dean.
  • For freshmen students, they must have finished at least one (1) semester in the CU.
  • For students below 18 years old, they must have secured prior written consent from parents or guardians to serve as an SA for a term.
  • Must not have a pending disciplinary case in the University.

Hourly Rate: Php 81.00 per hour

Graduate Assistant Eligibility

  • Must be continuing student, eligible to enroll during the term when appointed as GA.
  • Must be a graduate student enrolled not more than six (6) units regular/normal load during the term appointed.
  • Students who are enrolled in less than six (6) units during the term are eligible to be appointed as GAs provided they are expected to graduate at the end of the current semester. The applicant must submit a certification issued by his/her Faculty Secretary stating he/she is candidate for graduation in said term. A student who is enrolled less than six (6) units during a semester due to reasons other than being candidates for graduation may be appointed as GA, provided that he/she submits a valid justification issued/endorsed by the Faculty Secretary and confirmed by the Dean.
  • For Freshmen students, must have finished at least one (1) semester
  • Must not have a pending disciplinary case in the University.
  • No existing work / not employed

Hourly Rate :

  • Doctoral program — 210.00/hour
  • Master’s program — 145.00/hour
