Lingap-Iskolar: Assistance for UPCAT Qualifiers from Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas AY 2024-2025

The program will prioritize the following:
• UPCAT Qualifiers AY 2024-2025 from remote, economically disadvantaged areas in the Philippines
• Students from the low family income bracket — 135,000 and below gross annual family income
• No other financial assistance or other scholarship program
• Good scholastic standing

1.  Application letter addressed to Dr. Aurora V. Lacaste, the UPOU Committee on Scholarship and Financial Assistance Chair.
Please briefly describe the concern or situation that led you to apply and why you are entitled to the assistance.
(This helps us understand your context better and connect you with the right resources.)

2. We would appreciate receiving at least two (2) of the following documents, whichever is applicable:

• Certificate of Indigency specifying your estimated annual income.
• Income Tax Return: A document from the Bureau of Internal Revenue showing low or absent income.
• Department of Social Welfare and Development Certification: A certification from the DSWD confirming the individual or family’s low-income status.
• 4Ps Identification: For beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), a copy of the 4Ps ID is required.
• Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Certification: A certification from the MSWDO indicating the individual’s or family’s low-income status.
• Notarized Affidavit of No Income

3. Death Certificate / Medical Certificate (if applicable)

4. Picture of your house (facade/front, living room, kitchen) and your household members/family
